As 2024 wraps up, we’re thrilled to share our final update of the year!

What a year it's been! From rare finds to unique collectibles, 2024 has seen us upload hundreds of mesmerising items.

For the final finale of 2024, we have the George III 1797 Twopence Extremely Fine. The Cartwheel twopences of George III are always popular amongst collectors - they were afterall the largest copper coins to ever circulate in Great Britain. These two ounce copper coins must have been a challenge to carry around.

Another interesting coin was the George VI, Halfcrown, 1949, Choice Uncirculated. Following World War II, it was decided to remove the silver from our coins and replace it with Cupro-nickel. We have on offer a rare Cupro-Nickel Halfcrown issued in 1949 made of 75% copper and 25% nickel, it was just as hard wearing and still looked like silver.

Furthermore, the Artabanos IV Silver Drachm Very Fine. Artabanos IV’s drachms are valued by historians for insights into the late Parthian economy and the empire’s final phase before its collapse. We have acquired a group of his drachms in Very Fine grade.
