News On 04 April 2025We're showcasing the 2004 £5, 100th Anniversary of the Entente Cordiale Silver Proof Piedfort. In 2004, the Royal Mint issued a special £5 piece honouring the special relationship that we had with France in 1904. Mint only made 2,500 of this coin in Silver Proof Piedfort you have Britannia and the French sower joined together as one figure. These are beautiful proofs and not easy to get.
Furthermore, we have the Charles III, 50 Pence, 2023 Coronation Silver PIEDFORT Proof. It features the king wearing his crown, a one-off type as it was just used for these Coronation commemoratives. These are double-thickness piedfort silver proofs and the mintage on this Coronation issue is only 3,260 pieces. They come in the Royal Mint case of issue with certificate.
Our third feature is the Parthian Kingdom, Orodes II, Silver Drachm. Good Very Fine. Orodes II ruled the Parthian Empire from 57 to 37 BC, a period marked by both military success and internal conflict. A lovely group of his drachms with amazing high relief available in Good Very fine grade.
