WESTMINSTER ABBEY MEDALLIONS

We just found a box of these medallions in our warehouse, they must have been there for over 20 years in an unmarked box that we just got round to opening, yes, that still happens! To be honest, you are the ones that benefit because we bought these quite cheaply all that time ago but we are not going to charge what some people are asking for them and that’s without the case or chain! These medals were issued in the 1980’s following the restoration of the Abbey and made using old lead which was smelted with nickel to create these medallions. The obverse has an image of Westminster Abbey and the reverse has the wording ‘This medallion contains the lead taken from Westminster Abbey during its restoration’. The medals come with a chain, ready for wearing, and in their original presentation cases.
