Yugoslavia 20 Dinara Tesla Anniv. PRF

In 1996 the then Yugoslav government issued a nickel brass 20 new dinar proof coin to mark the 140th Anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tesla. Tesla himself was known for making a major contribution to the design of the modern alternating current electricity supply system. Although he migrated to the United States in 1884, he was born in a Serb family within the old Austrian Empire.
