Tom Brady started his professional career in the NFL back in the year 2000. He was selected 199th overall by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. That means that six quarterbacks were picked before him that year. He is perhaps the NFL's biggest draft steal and one of the biggest underdog stories, not just in American Football, but also in sporting history. He was described by NFL scouts as "Poor build, skinny, lacks great physical stature and strength, and gets knocked down easily." But yet, he went on to become the greatest player in American Football. He achieved 6 super bowls while playing for the New England Patriots and won another super bowl in his first year playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is the greatest! He has been in 10 Super Bowls winning 7 of them. At 44 he retired for a few months and is coming back this Autumn. He holds almost every record as a quarterback, passing yards, completions, and of course touchdowns. He is the oldest quarterback ever chosen for the Pro Bowl. In soccer you have Pele, in American football, you have Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. This is a fantastic set of five crownsized medallions in a presentation case each with a different full-colour photo. If you or a friend like American football then you will want one of these impressive collections. A great collection, honouring one of the biggest underdogs in sporting history!
