The second Phoenix (611) is here for February! Hopefully, it will be with you around Wednesday, 19th of February (postal services permitting).
This edition is packed with golden opportunities! On the front page, we've got Gold Sovereigns at old prices for the LAST time. We have held our Sovereign prices for as long as we could.
Today there is about £555 worth of gold in a sovereign. The latest price for a Proof Sovereign from the Royal Mint was £895 and they sold out at that price, there are none left. If you have ever thought of buying some of these Gold Soverigns, now is the time to do it!
Moreover, we also have India’s First Victorian Rupee in Uncirculated. A fantastic small group of India’s first silver Rupee of Queen Victoria struck in 1840, some 125 years ago. They were issued by the East India Company and
carry the very young bust of the Queen. The best thing is that they are in Uncirculated condition and with lots of original lustre.
But that's not all - we've also got wartime currency! The elusive Mauve Wartime 10 shillings and the Blue Pink £1 notes are now harder to find than ever, but we've got them in pristine EF and AU/Unc conditions.
Please do keep an eye out for this issue, as there are much more coins, banknotes, tokens, books, pendants, scales, stamps and medals.
