The explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark decided to explore and map parts of America in 1804-6. They met the Lemhi Shoshone woman known as Sacagawea, who even though she had just had a child, agreed to help them. At one point a boat capsized and the journals and records fell into the water. It was Sacagawea who rescued these documents. The island nation of Fiji issued a commemorative Dollar to honour the trio in 2015. It has the 3 standing together and the reverse has the coat of arms of Fiji. It is gold-plated copper and in choice Proof condition. The United States also issued a small-sized dollar coin, but just to honour the Indian maiden Sacagawea. This is also struck in a yellow metal and in Proof condition. We are offering the Fiji and the American proof dollars as a pair, as it seems best that way. So you get the Proof dollar from Fiji and the proof dollar from the United States.

They also issued what looks like postcards, but are actually called PHQ’s of these four stamps. Which means Post Office House of Questa. The House of Questa was the company that actually printed the stamps for the Post Office. We were offered the four PHQ’s at a price that we thought was fantastic, so we bought all they had, after all there are a lot of golf enthusiasts in the world. You can have all four PHQ’s which are now 25 years old at a very good price. Supplies are limited and they are excellent gifts for anyone interested in Golf and most will have never seen these.

Greece, 25 Euro Pattern 1996 C N

This crownsized pattern 25 Euros was issued by International Currency Bureau in 1996; it was not issued by the Greek government. On one side you have the Discus Thrower from the ancient Olympic Games. On the other side you have a galley vessel, again of ancient times. This coin is struck in Prooflike Uncirculated Cupro-nickel and is now some 22 years old. Not an easy pre-euro pattern to find and most of the pieces were shipped to Greece. I have bought out one of the original parties that made this piece and therefore I can offer them at a wonderful price.
