Sangrama Deva was the first ruler of the Lohara dynasty in Kashmir and ruled from 1003 to 1028 AD. He was the nephew of Queen Didda Rani and succeeded her upon her death in 1003. These rare copper stater coins show the king standing on the left sacrificing over an altar and holding a trident, while the obverse shows Ardoksho, the goddess of wealth, who was a popular deity in south Asia in the first millennium.
