Akbar The Great Copper Dam

Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar, also known as Akbar the Great, was the third Mughal emperor and whose reign lasted from 1556 until 1605. These chunky 1 Dam coins were struck in copper and produced in Atak Banaras in what is now the city of Varanasi in Northern India throughout his long reign. Akbar is considered one of the greatest emperors in Indian history and even Time magazine still has him included in its list of the top 25 world leaders.
