William III took over the full monarchy when his wife Mary died in 1694. We have just had in a nice little group of King William III Halfpennies in Very Good condition. Which considering that they are over 300 years old is quite remarkable. This is a coin that you don’t often see and it has been sometime since we last had enough to offer, as we know our collectors will want them. The Halfpenny was struck from 1695-1701. They were struck in copper with William’s bust wearing a laurel wreath and a seated figure of Britannia on the other side. They were a little weakly struck but are in Very Good condition and difficult to find.
