US Continental $ Replica In Copper

In 1776, the American Colonies got together and attempted to issue a uniform coinage, the result was what is known as the Continental Dollar. On the obverse you have the legend ‘CONTINENTAL CURRENCY 1776’ with a sun dial and ‘Mind Your Own Business’ in the centre. The reverse has 13 intertwined loops, one for each of the colonies, and WE ARE ONE at the centre. Originals of these coins sell for around £50,000 but these are restrike copies in copper and are stamped COPY but at £12.95 they are lot more affordable. They are also very well made and available in limited numbers.
