Three New Zealand Elizabeth II Pennies
Prior to the introduction of the New Zealand dollar in 1967, the country had its own pre-decimal pound. We are offering a set of 3 Queen Elizabeth II pennies struck in the late 1950s in Very Fine condition and from the early 1960s in Uncirculated condition. The obverse shows the young laureate head of the late queen and the reverse has a tui bird resting in the branches of a kowhai tree and surrounded by a legend of the country name, denomination and year.
