Scarce Edward VIII East African Coins
divider
There were very few British Colonies that issued coins for King Edward VIII. Some of the most difficult to find in high grade are the 5 Cents and 10 Cents of East Africa. Each coin has the tusks on one side with the value and Edward VIII on the other side. The coins on offer were struck in Birmingham at the Kings Norton Mint and carry the ‘KN’ privy mark. What is most remarkable is their condition, Brilliant Uncirculated. Over the past 89 years they have mellowed a bit but they have full original brilliance. For years we only had the 10 Cents in Very Fine condition (£8.95) and these are BU and we also have a very limited number of the 5 Cents as well. You just don’t see these coins in this extremely high quality condition, don’t miss out!
