This is the 5000 guaranies (P223) The portrait on the front is of Don Carlos Antonio Lopez, first President of Paraguay from 1841-62. The back illustrates the Palacio de Lopez, the home of the President and the current seat of Government. The see through security panel is in the form of an early steam train.
