New Zealand, 1946 Silver Threepence

We just bought a large collection of King Edward VII Silver Threepences, the smallest silver coin issued by this Monarch for general usage. We have not checked the dates, but they were issued from 1902-1910. They were stuck in Sterling Silver and are well over 100 years old. We are not going to be sorting them, but just taking them out of the sack as they come. They are in Very Good or better condition and we know they are not easy to get. Everything before King George V is difficult to find, maybe it is because they are so old and struck in Sterling Silver. Great coins, the King only had coins for ten years and they are all over 100 years old…

We have just purchased a group of King George VI Silver Threepences from New Zealand, all were issued during World War II. This was the furthest part of the British Empire at the time and these coins must have had a heck of journey to get to New Zealand. All coins are in Fine condition and this one was issued in 1940.
