JAPAN HIROHITO Death Medal GM

This year marks 35 years since the death of Hirohito, the 124th Emperor of Japan between 1926 and 1989. He was one of the longest-reigning in the world and the longest-serving of any Japanese emperor. To mark the occasion we are offering a Death Medal struck by the Anglo-Japanese Numismatic Society in gilding metal, a brass alloy which has a much higher copper content than zinc.
