We offer the Rare uniface pattern sets of Heligoland. Heligoland is two islands located about 46 kilometres off the German coast line in the North Sea. But from 1807 until 1890 it was a British possession. Ceded to the United Kingdom during the Napoleonic Wars it was ceded again to Germany in 1890. These Rare 16 piece sets of patterns were only struck in an extremely limited edition of 50 sets for the entire world. These two places are rather exotic and extremely difficult to get coins from. You now have the chance to own one or both for an extremely low price, especially considering that there are 16 pieces in each collection and only 50 sets were ever made. Each piece is struck on an oversized planchet and they are in Proof like condition. Considering how the other sets have done, we expect t sell out quickly.
