10 FDCs Special Offer

We have just taken delivery of 20 crates containing some 31,250 First Day Covers (FDC) and even at our new location, they take up a lot of space. Most are British, a few are from the Channel Islands, and few from overseas. Normally we would sort them, so as to be able to offer them by type, but this time there are just too many and we are too busy trying to get our stock in order! Many of you have ordered our FDC packages in the past and very few were ever returned. This is in many ways a much more interesting lot and fresh to the market. Some of the covers are from the 1960s others are much more modern but all are First Day Covers. Most British commemoratives but there are also British fiscal FDCs that are scarcer and a few from other countries. We have asked staff members, who know nothing about stamps to make up packages of 10 different covers. Just count them out and make sure there are NO duplicates. That way every collector has the same chance to get some wonderful covers. We are going to offer a package of 10 different First Day Covers at a special price of just £8.95 that is less than 90p a cover! They make great gifts, and the holiday season is almost here. While they last 10 FDCs for just £8.95. We think it is good value and you will love them.

Maria Theresa Thaler (Re-strike) Brilliant Uncirculated

Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful coins ever struck. It was struck at the Austrian Mint from 1780 until now. The fact is they still strike them today with the 1780 date on them. They are large silver coins that contain about 3/4 of an ounce of pure silver and they are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. We have not had these for years, but a lucky buy has put them back into stock. But not at our original price of £28.50. A beautiful large silver coin, considered one of the most beautiful ever struck and at a £10.00 savings.

Picture of George VI, Farthing 1946 Unc

George VI, Farthing 1946 Unc

King George VI, the Queen’s Father, had a short but turbulent reign. After all we had World War II, silver was taken out of our coinage and the British Empire was starting to break up. We have uploaded onto the website all the King George VI Farthings that we have in stock in Uncirculated condition. In all honesty, some are Brilliant Uncirculated, which is better than Uncirculated, but we are going to sell them all at one price. When your order arrives, we will give you the best grade that we have in stock. On offer here is the 1946 Farthing. This is a great series of coins and the smallest coin issued by King George VI, they were struck in bronze and in Uncirculated.
