In 1928, some 96 years ago the Austrian Mint issued a silver 2 Schilling coin to honour their late great Franz Peter Schubert. He was a composer who, despite his short life wrote 7 symphonies and over 600 vocal works. He was born in 1797 and died in 1821. This Schubert silver commemorative coins were only issued in 1928 and are in Extremely Fine condition. Today they are almost 100 years old and not easy to find. If you like his music, you will love his silver coin.
