2004 £5, 100th Anniversary of the Entente Cordiale Silver Proof Piedfort

In 2004, the Royal Mint issued a special £5 piece honouring the special relationship that we had with France in 1904. We guess a couple of World Wars and our relationship might well have changed. Anyway, the Mint only made 2,500 of this coin in Silver Proof Piedfort and we managed to buy five (5) of them. You have Britannia and the French sower joined together as one figure. These are beautiful proofs and not easy to get.
