We’ve been organising our large stock of George V coins and came across a group of those dated 1914 and 1918. As we all know, these dates mark that of World War I which began on July 28th 1914, when Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, and ended on November 11th 1918, with the signing of the armistice. These sterling silver florins have seen significantly less circulation than the usual, and we can offer you them in Extremely Fine grade. Struck in sterling silver, historically significant, and at least 107 years old, a great coin for your collection.
