Tanzania 500 & 1000 Shilingi (1997) P30/31 Unc

A pair of notes issued by Tanzania in 1997. Both feature the head of a giraffe on the front (P30/1) .The 500 shilingi also depicts a zebra on the front with a vignette of the clove harvest on the back The 1000 shilingi feature an elephant and her calf bottom left on the front with factory buildings and an ancient carved door to the People’s Bank of Zanzibar on the back. Crisp Uncirculated and quite charming Giraffe Pair.
