Picture of South Africa, Mandela Mint Set Special

South Africa, Mandela Mint Set Special

When Nelson Mandela was finally released from prison after many years of hard labor, he shocked the world. He came out in a suit and didn’t hate those who put him inside. Rather he realised that he could help his country go forward and regain its place in the world. He was a hero and loved and admired by not only his own countrymen but by people all over the world. The South African Government made both a coin and a banknote with his portrait on them. A friend in South Africa made up a handsome folder with both the coin and the banknote, which we are now proud to be able to offer. Supplies are running out and we don’t know where or when we will be able to get any more. A true gentleman, someone who put his country before himself and someone we admire. Add the set to your collection today.

Lebanon, 5-Coin Mint Set Brilliant Unc

Lebanon, 5-Coin Mint Set Brilliant Unc

Lebanon has one of the most interesting histories in the Middle East. At one time it was known as the Monte Carlo of the Middle East. Then it spent years in turmoil and civil war, now it is starting to regain its place in the world and starting to regain its stature. We are very lucky to be able to get a 5-coin Mint Set from Lebanon, as coins are not all that easy to get out of the country, especially current coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. You get the 25 Livres, 50 Livres, 100 Livres, 250 Livres and the 500 Livres dated 1996-2006 all in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

Picture of Five Egyptian Coins

Five Egyptian Coins

A nice group of Egyptian coins all in Uncirculated condition. It is hard to find Uncirculated modern coins, as they are used every day and therefore usually come circulated. You get the 10 Milliemes, 5 Piastres, and 10 Piastres of about 1960 plus the 5 & 10 Piastres commemoratives of the 1st anniversary of the October War (1974). An interesting set and one that is very difficult to put together today, especially in Uncirculated condition.
