These silver drachm from the Sindh region were used in an area that now straddles the southern border of Pakistan and western India from the late sixth century until well into the seventh century, during the time of the Gurjura Confederacy. On the obverse of these hammered coins is a simplified bust of a Sassanian king, with a stylised fire altar on the reverse. Even in this grade they are quite scarce coins.
