Set of Three French Colonial Coins, Uncirculated

Like Britain France had an extensive colonial presence in Africa until well after the Second World War, and here we can offer you a set of aluminium coins from some of these territories. There is the 1948 2 franc coin from Madagascar, the 1959 franc from French Somaliland (now the independent state of Djibouti), and the 1964 franc from Reunion Island, which remains part of France. All the coins bear the image of Marianne, the symbol of the French Republic, and come in Uncirculated condition and are very hard to find now.
