Provincial Bank of Ireland £1 Dec 1926 DUBLIN Unissued Hole Cancelled No serial numbers Unc

Some years ago now, we managed to obtain the remaining part of the hoard of 1926 Irish £1 notes. All are Uncirculated and are cancelled with four holes. They were issued for payment in Dublin but when Ireland and North Ireland split, they had to change payment to Belfast. So all the notes had to be cancelled even though they were in Uncirculated condition. In the new Irish Banknote Catalogue, these important notes catalogue £75 each. Most of the notes in the hoard had serial numbers but a small number had no serial numbers. It is these we offer now. Uncirculated.
