Pakistan, 1 Pie, 1951. Uncirculated

When Pakistan was halved off from India they needed to strike their own coinage and this is the first One Pie issued. Struck in 1951 with a face value of One Pie, the mintage was less than 3 million for a population of 130 million. We have a nice group of Uncirculated coins, this denomination was only made from 1951-1957. It is a coin that you don’t often see especially in Uncirculated condition with original lustre.
