The Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem has spent about a thousand years helping the sick and the poor. This One Zecchino is dated 1965 and was for the Great Siege. It is available in silvered cupro-nickel and is listed in Krause’s Unusual World Coins. It is a heavy crown-sized silvered coin with a Knight on one side and crowned eagle on the other side.
