Old Canadian penny tokens

Before 1857 most low denomination Canadian coins were penny and halfpenny tokens struck by local banks and provincial authorities. We are offering 1 copper penny from 1854 in Very Fine condition. Also available are similar penny token from Lower Canada, nowadays Quebec and also denominated in the French 2 sous. It is dated 1837 and is in Very Fine grade, but this time struck by the Quebec Bank.
