NEW FOUNDLAND E8 GM

Newfoundland, although now part of Canada, once issued its own coinage but no issues were struck under Edward VIII so ICB struck these fantasy crown-sized Patinas for collectors in different metals. We thought we had sold out of these years ago but we just found a box with a few of each different metals. These coins have the portrait of Edward VIII on one side and a ship on the reverse and are retro-dated 1936. These are listed in Krause’s Unusual World Coins and are available in very limited numbers. These coins have small carbon spots on them so they are being offered cheap to clear them.
