Namibia 60 Dollars (2024) Polymer P-New Unc

Namibia has just issued a new polymer banknote with the unusual denomination of 60 dollars (P-New) This strange value is because it commemorates Dr Hugo Gottfried Geingob, who devoted 60 years of his life to service to Namibia’s democracy, economic progress and social inclusivity. He served both as Namibia’s first president and its third president from 2015 until his death in 2024. The front is dominated by a portrait of Geingob alongside views of the Independence Memorial Museum. The back features wind turbines, hydrogenator, biomass, solar panels and Geingob holding a Football Cup on his inauguration. Uncirculated Polymer 60 dollars.
