In 2012, Morocco issued a special 25 dirham note to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Dar As-Sikkha, the department responsible for printing the country’s banknotes and minting their coins.(P173) Printed in the vertical format, a portrait of King Mohammed VI is on the front with a view of the Bank. Stylised coins, banknotes and passports adorn the back. This was the first commemorative note in the world to be printed on Durasafe, a hybrid paper polymer composite. Uncirculated.
