Didda Rani, also known as The Catherine of Kashmir, was the last ruler of the Yakhaskara Dynasty. Having served as regent for her son and several grandsons between 958 and 980AD, she went on to become sole monarch in the region in her own right from 980 until her death in 1003AD. These bronze stater coins show seated and standing goddesses on both sides and actually bear her name. PLEASE NOTE: PHOTOGRAPHY IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COIN SUPPLIED
