Ireland, 1968 Mint Set

Ireland, 1968 Mint Set

One of our contacts found a hoard of 1968 Irish pre-Euro Mint Sets. Most of them went back to Ireland and the rest we were allowed to buy. The set comes in a green card holder inside a vinyl wallet. It contains Irish pre-euro coins in Uncirculated condition, but over the past 50 years the coins have mellowed a little. This 1968 Mint Set contains the 1d, 3d, 6d, Shilling and Florin. 1968 is an important set, it is the closest to the changeover to Euro coins. The set comes in a wallet and the coins are Uncirculated but may have mellowed over the years.
