India Edward VII Rupee. Very Fine

It is a long time since we have offered these silver rupees struck during the reign of Edward VII, who succeeded his mother as Emperor of India in 1901. However, unlike his mother he reigned for only 9 years, so these coins are less easy to fi nd. On the obverse we see a bust of the king with a divided legend, while the reverse has the date and value in both English and Urdu, and fl anked by a spray of lotus flowers. The coins are all in Very Fine condition.
