Greece 500 million Drachma 1944 P132 AU/Unc

This 500 million drachma is dated 1944.(P132) This was a period of inflation for Greece but they still managed to produce notes reflecting their rich ancient history. The front has a portrait of Apollo taken from the Temple of Zeus at Olympia. The back depicts two men riding rearing horses taken from a frieze in the Parthenon Gallery of the Acropolis Museum.
