Germany Koln 10000 Marks 1923 Adenauer

Konrad Adenauer is best known for being the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, established after World War 2. Less well known, perhaps, is that he served as Mayor of Cologne (his home town) from 1917 until 1933 .It is in this capacity that his signature appears on these 10,000 mark notes dated 1923, during the crazy hyperinflation years when towns as well as the government issued notes.
