Germany Kiel 5 Milliarden Marks 1923

When the German economy collapsed in early 1923, banknotes were issued by towns and companies alongside regular government issues. These 5 milliarden mark (or 5 billion in todays parlance) were issued by the town of Kiel. They are dated October 1923 and are simple affairs, printed on one side only.
