A trio of notes issued by the Weimar Republic in Germany. Our trio comprises the 10,20 and 50 reichsmarks dated between 1924 and 1933 (P180-2) They are fairly densely engraved with portraits on the front of Albrecht Daniel Thaer, agronomist, Werner von Siemens, industrialist and inventor and David Hansemann, banker. Neoclassical themes adorn the backs. In Good Fine and better.

The numbers on this note say a modest 2000 but the truth is the note is for 2000 million drachma !(P133) The central vignette is a frieze taken from The Parthenon in Athens. These notes were printed locally in Athens and are in Uncirculated condition.
