George VI, Penny 1951 Uncirculated

The 1951 Penny was the fi nal date Penny issued by George VI before his death in 1952. You could try and get the 1952, but unfortunately it’s Unique. The 1951 is Rare in its own right, mintage was only 120,000. This may sound a lot, but when you realise 89,000,000 were struck in 1937, the Coronation year you realise there are about 740 1937’s for every one 1951. We haven’t featured them for sale in high grade for over 10 years, so don’t wait for this to come around again! We have a small group of these Rare Pennies in two high grades – Extremely Fine or Uncirculated, the choice is yours but stock is very limited.
