The brass threepence was struck for the first time in 1937 for the Coronation of King George VI. It was struck for the last time for circulation in 1967 – the last of the pre-decimal coins. We have managed to get together pairs of the First ever brass threepence (1937) and the last ever brass threepence (1967) both in Uncirculated condition and a much smaller number in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The brass threepence has always been one of the most popular series with collectors.
