Obverse: Head of King George VI facing left with legend around

Reverse: Wren - designed by Harold Wilson Parker, with date above and denomimation below.

The obverse legend on this coin ends with IND:IMP. (Indiae Imperator) which was dropped from the coinage when India gained independence in 1949.
