Genghis Khan Silver 1 Ounce Round

The Pinehurst Mint have released another 1 ounce Silver Round in their ‘Legendary Warriors’ series, this one depicting Genghis Khan who was the founder of the Mongol Empire, known for his military genius and ambition, and for uniting the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia under his leadership. He was feared for his ruthless conquests but also respected for establishing many systems that connected vast regions of the world to build one of the largest empires in history. The obverse features a detailed design showing Genghis Khan on horseback wearing a helmet and armour, with an eagle perched on his arm. The reverse bears a bundle of weapons to represent the ‘Legendary Warriors’ series with the weight and fineness below.
