Elizabeth II, Florin 1970 Proof

The Florin as a denomination only came into existence in 1849 under Queen Victoria. It came to an end twice under Queen Elizabeth II, first for circulation in 1967 and for collectors in 1970. The 1970 coins are only available in the 1970 last ever pre-decimal proof set. We have accumulated a small group of the 1970 Proof Only Florin from broken up proof sets. 1970 Proof Florin.
