Cyprus, 500 Mil, 1970. FAO Commemorative. Uncirculated

In 1970 Cyprus issued a 500 mil coin to mark the 25th Anniversary of the UN’s Food & Agriculture Organisation (FAO). Struck in copper nickel, these crown sized coins show a double cornucopia, representing a world of plenty, on the obverse, and a figure holding a basket of fruit on the reverse. Although legal tender, few of these coins went into circulation, so we can offer them in Uncirculated condition.
