Clydesdale Bank Limited £1 1969 P202 EF

These Clydesdale £1 notes are all dated 1969 (P202). This is the last date of this design which features the arms of the bank on the front and a view of Clydeside on the back. It was replaced 2 years later with a brand new design in a smaller size. The design also includes bar codes to aid electronic sorting, a feature which was not repeated on later issues. Our examples have seen very little, if any circulation, and grade Crisp Extremely Fine.
