Belgian FNI/NVI Medal, 2nd Class Silver Gilt

This is from the Belgian National Federation of the Mutilated Military and War Wounded Veterans which was established right after the end of WW1 as a social and philanthropic association focused on providing aid and relief to the wounded and mutilated war veterans. The medal was awarded for long and devoted service to the cause of the Federation and they continued issuing these medals during the inter-war years and throughout, and following, WW2. This is s 2nd Class (silver gilt).
