You have to remember that Australia did not issue any silver coins until 1910. It was not until 1927 that they issued their first commemorative coin. It was a sterling silver florin, which was the largest silver coin they made at the time. It was to honour their new Parliament Building in Canberra and had the bust of King George V on the obverse. This coin was wildly popular and everyone wanted one as a souvenir. They usually come in worn condition Fine or Very Fine. We bought a very small group in Uncirculated condition. They are Rare in such a high grades. It has been years since we last had ones so choice for sale. Don’t miss out! These are beautiful and Rare.
