Japan, Cash Coin Very Fine

Chinese Cash coins are easy to find, you can not say that about Japanese Cash coins. A Cash coin is a round coin with a square hole in it. If you do the I-Ching, then you need three coins all the same. This coins is in Very Fine condition. We don't know what the market is in Japan, but we do know that they are much scarcer than their Chinese counterparts.

Poland_7_Coin_Set

Poland, 7 Coin Set

With the fall of Communism in Poland in 1989 and the hyperinflation that set in during 1990, the country’s currency had to be re-issued. At the time inflation soared to 567% (we think we have it bad!!) and the zloty fell to 16,862 to our UK pound. Now we can offer a set of 7 of these coins that were issued for one year only. The lower denominations (1, 2 and 5 zloty) are made of aluminium, while the 10 zloty comes in brass and the 50, 20 and 100 are copper-nickel.

Haiti, FAO Coin_obv

Haiti, FAO Coin

We are not sure that anyone realises that this Low Mintage Haiti coin may never have even made it to Haiti. It was issued as part of the Food for All programme of the United Nations. The pieces we are offering were bought through another dealer who got them in Rome, where the FAO organization has it’s headquarters. Krause state that the mintage is just 15,000 coins. We have Brilliant Uncirculated examples that you can own one for just £3.95 and at this price we think they are a bargain, after all they only made 15,000 of them.
