5-coin Tanzania Mint Set

This is a wonderful set of 5 coins from Tanzania in eastern Africa. Minted between 1976 and 1990, they are all still in Brilliant uncirculated condition. The lower denominations of 5, 10 and 20 sentibear the image of the nation’s first president Julius Nyerere, who is often described as the “Father of the Nation” for his role in pushing for independence. The 50 senti and 1 shilingi coins, which were minted in the 1987-1992 period, show his successor President Ali Hassan Mwinyi.
